The English Graduate Organization (EGO) is a pre-professional organization that provides support, both social and academic, for the graduate students of the Department of English. In addition to regular workshops on scholarship, teaching, and the job market, each spring EGO sponsors an interdisciplinary conference open to graduate students and faculty from academic institutions worldwide. The primary theme of the conference varies annually.
