TA Workshop: Projecting Our Classroom Voices

Join Mezzo soprano Jacquelyn Pileckas for an informal and interactive workshop on vocal projection for the classroom. Ms. Pileckas is a second-year master’s student at the University of Florida pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance. In 2017, she graduated from Christopher Newport University with B.M. in Vocal Performance.
With Opera CNU, Ms. Pileckas performed Laetitia in Menotti’s The Old Maid and the Thief and Despina in Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte. She has also performed Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro with OperaFestival di Roma, The Mistress of the Novices in Suor Angelica with Red River Lyric Opera, and Gherardino in Gianni Schicchi with Tidewater Opera Initiative. Most recently, Ms. Pileckas performed Hansel in Hansel and Gretel at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Gainesville, FL.
