Albertine Clarke

MFA Student

Albertine Clarke, a woman with red hair, sits at a wooden table with a cappuccino. She is wearing a black puffer jacket and glasses.

I am a second-year fiction MFA student from London, England. I completed my undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on speculative fiction – I completed my undergraduate thesis on the work of Kurt Vonnegut and Philip K. Dick. Whilst at Edinburgh I also won the Lewis Edwards Memorial prize for creative writing. I love all kinds of literature, but the focus of my creative work is the intersection between science fiction and realism.
