John Murchek

John Murchek holds a B.A. from Trinity College in the University of Toronto, and A.M. and Ph.D. degrees in English from Brown University. He is the undergraduate academic advisor in the English Department. In that capacity, he advises undergraduate English majors on issues related to their coursework for the major, and works on the development of the English Department’s schedule of courses. He also teaches undergraduate courses for the English Department. His teaching interests include English Renaissance literature and culture, modern criticism and theory, and lyric poetry and poetic theory.

In the Spring 2024 semester, Dr. Murchek will be available for undergraduate academic advising at the following times:

M 1:00pm-4:00pm

WF 9:30am-12:00noon and 1:00pm-4:00pm

TR 9:30am-11:00am
