Her research interests lie at the intersection of environment, science, and literature. Her dissertation explores deep-sea literature and ecomedia, and the ways in which we ethically relate to far-away ecologies and animals of radical alterity. Her fiction has been published in Narrative Magazine, Terrain, and Polyphony Lit, and she is the founder of the tiny journal, a literary nonprofit magazine.
