Department of English

Hyunjung Kim is a Ph.D. student in the English Department at the University of Florida. She graduated from Sookmyung Women’s University with a B.A. in English, completing extra credits in English Literature and double majoring in Political Science. She also holds an M.A. in English Literature from the same institution. Hyunjung’s research interests include women’s literature, minority literature, film studies and cultural studies. Her academic curiosity extends to the relationship among media, technology, and narrative, as well as computational methods for examining large bodies of literature. In her spare time, Hyunjung enjoys playing the piano and table tennis, watching baseball games, and exploring art museums.
