Bryce Patton

Ph.D. Student

 

Bryce Patton is a graduate student at the University of Florida where he pursues a PhD in Film and Media Studies. He received his MA from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville where he studied literature, film, and history. His MA thesis was titled “The Sound and Color Will Translate . . . to the Visual”: Sound in the Adaptations of John Huston” and focused on the relationship between sound and adaptation in John Huston’s “Treasure of the Sierra Madre,” “Moby Dick,” and “Wise Blood.” His research areas include Cinema Studies, Film History, Adaptation Studies, American literature, and Video Production.
