English Department Orientation Day 2

1:00-2:00 Info for MFA Students

Review of the most pressing first year program requirements and answer other questions about your year.    Mandatory for incoming MFA student; PhD students please skip this session.

2:15-3:00 Looking Ahead: Teaching in the English Department, led by Anastasia Ulanowicz

Useful information for how teaching is assigned, ranges of courses available, examples of how students connect their interests to teaching, and important to understand the role of the DGST in helping develop your teaching experience while in the program.  All incoming students in both the MFA and PhD should attend this and remaining sessions today.
