Renata Redford, Ph.D in Modern Italian Literature from UCLA, is the Director of Research and Content Strategy at Inside Philanthropy, a digital philanthropy research and news company. Prior to UCLA, she graduated from UF with a B.A. in English literature and a minor in Italian. Her academic research is grounded in Gender Studies, Refugee Studies and climate change, while her philanthropy prospect research spans over 100 funding categories in North America. Across both industry and private consulting, she has launched extensive, multi-disciplinary digital and research solutions at a global level, implementing analytics-driven content to measure impact. She has also consulted for U.N. Women and volunteered for the UNHCR.
