Ph.D. Student
Melissa Chadwick is a first-year PhD student in the Department of English. She received her BA from the University of Vermont in Film and Television Studies, where she wrote an honors thesis, “Feminine Tragedy and the Ethics of Abjection”. She is interested in representations of the female body, the gaze, and desire in film, media, and literature.
