Representatives of the undergraduate student group, the English Society, Amelia DeVries and Ophelia Carter (front row) and Hailee Spoor (back row, right), shared their experiences as English majors with students new to UF who were exploring major and minor options at CLAS Kickoff on the day before the Fall 2025 semester began. Both the new students and Dr. Murchek appreciated their personal perspectives on the major.
