In my dissertation, I study the life and works of Rev. Canon J.J. My works are published and forthcoming in edited volumes on Gender and Social Media advocacy, and Gender representations on social media, Journal for African Cultural Studies, and Victoriographies Journal. Part of my dissertation work is published in the Philharmonie de Paris’s exhibition catalogue titled: Fela Anikulapo-Kuti: Afrobeat Rebellion.

Outside my school work, I have worked as an executive member of EGO, volunteered with OGAP, and co-created an online community for African graduate students and professionals at UF. I also volunteer with the outreach program at the Center for African Studies to deliver talks and lectures on Africa, I am part of the editorial team of African Studies Quarterly and I sing every Friday with the Pazeni Sauti choir.
