Payal Nagpal is a fiction MFA candidate from India interested in feminism and post-colonialism. She has worked on Subtropics Magazine and taught Beginning Fiction Writing at UF. Her work has appeared in Scroll.in, New Square, and Simon&Schuster’s anthology, Cat People, and she’s currently piecing together a novel involving a Calcuttan orphanage, Mormons, missionaries, and Instagram influencers.
